After several years of freelance video experience, Tim and Theresa Strawser decided to pursue their dream of running their own small video production house. The Strawsers established Forrest Media in 2004. Located in Belleville, Illinois, just 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis, Missouri, Forrest Media is in the heart of the Midwest. As Forrest Media moves toward its 5th anniversary in January 2009, we seek to grow as an inventive, service-oriented production firm that builds strong relationships with our clients as well as with other businesses in our community.

Tim is Forrest Media’s head camera operator and editor, and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications. Tim polished his camera & editing skills at SimmComm Productions in Kankakee, Illinois, and served as Media Coordinator for College Church of the Nazarene in Kankakee as well. As a freelance videographer, Tim’s work spanned many kinds of projects, from independent film to cable access news programs to vaccuum cleaner sales training videos. He is proud to have grown up in Auburn, Indiana and is still confused as to why folks in Illinois use “Hoosier” as a derogatory word.

Theresa is Forrest Media’s second camera operator, production assistant, writer, and assistant editor, and also heads up marketing for Forrest Media. Theresa holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and served as Music Director/On-Air Host for Chicagoland radio station WONU-FM for four years. She grew up all over as an Air Force brat, but considers O’Fallon, Illinois home. Theresa represents Forrest Media in the Belleville chapter of BNI (Business Networking International), where she serves on the Membership Committee. Theresa still cries at every wedding she films.
